Four days. One arena. The entire world of taido.
Every few years, the taido world meets in one place. Old friendships pick up where they left off. New ones begin on the tatami, in the warm-up area, over dinner.
WTC 2027 brings together taidoka from across the globe — to compete, to learn, to reconnect. World-class athletes, the full range of techniques and disciplines, and a community that stretches from Japan to Europe, Australia and the Americas.
Whether you are an athlete, a coach, or a spectator, this is where the global taido community gathers.

Part of what makes WTC2027 special is being in the same place as everyone else. Same hotel, shared meals, a gym, a spa, the spaces in between.
We are putting together packages covering accommodation and meals that make this easy. Prices and details are still being finalised — but we wanted to share what we are planning so you can start thinking ahead.
Packages will be available from Thursday 29 July to Monday 2 August 2027.
Participants in any package will also have access to reduced rates at Strawberry Hotels if you wish to arrive earlier or stay longer — valid in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland.
